Climax A #313 was the last of four Climax A’s of the Wild Goose Railroad and is thought to be one of the only nearly complete and original Climax “A” surviving locomotives in the world. The Corry R.A.I.L.S. organization brought the locomotive home to Corry from Alaska in 2017. The locomotive is undergoing a multi-year restoration effort.
The steam engine has been completely overhauled and is operational. It will be coupled with the locomotive body upon full restoration.
It is anticipated that some part of the locomotive will be on display during the convention. More information will be provided as the project evolves.
