Thursday is J&L Day!
The J&L Narrow Gauge Railroad is a 24” gauge steel mill demonstration railroad located in Youngstown, Ohio. The railroad showcases J&L 58, a 45-ton Porter 0-4-0 tank locomotive. The railroad currently has 1,000 of feet of track installed and is anticipated to have more right-of-way for the convention.
The “All Day Rail Pass” includes:
- Multiple rides during the day
- Photo run-bys
- Multiple trains
- Use of signals
- Possible dispatcher
- Freight train made up of 4-wheel cars
- Other 2-foot gauge railbus and or railcars will participate in the activities
This will be a self guided function taking place on Thursday of the Convention.
Food truck will be on site for lunches.
Arrangements are being made for cab / tender rides.
Tickets must be purchased in advance through this web site — no walk-ups/on-site sales. Strictly limited to 12 participants. You must be registered as a convention attendee to participate in this opportunity — convention attendee registration is not included with the purchase of extra fare activities. Each participant must purchase a ticket.
